I need to talk about The Green Yuri

I am so obsessed with this ongoing manga !!

As you may know, i'm a lesbian, and i really enjoy lesbian romance cuz REPRESENTATION BABEY

It speaks to me within the deep layer of my heart as : one of the protagonist, Mitsuki Koga is misinterpreted as a boy at the beggining ! Hence the name "The Guy She Was Interested In Wasn't a Guy At All" or "She Wasn't a Guy" here in France.

And you may also know i'm transgender, I still have a shitton of masculine traits (and that's okay !!) so I'm deeply connected to her. Tbf her clothing style is kinda a goal ? Just just look at her

AND ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE RING : AYA OSAWA who is more feminine than Mitsuki. She is a fan of the rock genre even tho her style isn't tottaly in phase with the kinda music she listen to, and in fact none of her friends understand what she finds in the kind of music.
So yeah she found this new record store, looking for someone to talk about music ! That's when Mitsuki and Aya meet, tho Aya mistakes Mitsuki as a boy, she rapidly fall in love with "him", they exchange phone numbers and the romance begins !!

Little does she know : SHE FELL IN LOVE WITH A WOMAN AAAAAAAA LESBIAN ????? and not only that... SHE FELL IN LOVE WITH HER CLASS NEIGHBOR !!!!!!!! (i just think she's blind ??)

At some point she discover that Mistuki, her fucking class NEIGHBOR IS THE RECORD STORE CASHIER !!!!!!!! The manga resolves around Aya accepting her feelings on a woman (lesbian). That's so fucking cool

I dont want to spoil anything for you soooo : GO TO YOUR LOCAL LIBRARY AND BUY IT !! (Do not buy on amazon please, give your money to local stores please please)

The third volume is coming out today (7/2/2025) in France and HELL YEAH ITS AVAILABLE AT MY LOCAL MANGA SHOP ITS SO HOT OUTSIDE I WILL STILL GO OUT AND PICK IT UP

But yeah all my pfps and banners on my social is Green Yuri, especially Mitsuki (she's so cool).
